International visitors arriving in the Republic of Korea are required to be in possession of a valid passport. Immigration officials will reject your entry if you present him/her an expired or fake/false passport. (A passport valid for your intended period of stay in Republic of Korea is necessary. We recommend that your passport should be valid for at least 6 months for Visa application.)
* Starting from July 1st 2021, The period of stay will be granted only within the validity of the passport.

Temporary suspension measures have been applied to 90 countries/regions that have a visa-waiver or visa-free entry program with the Republic of Korea, as of April 13, 2020. Accordingly, persons with a passport from the relevant 90 countries/regions, which are subject to the suspension measure as listed below, are required to obtain a visa from a Korean diplomatic mission to enter the Republic of Korea.

Although we are currently under circumstance that we need to be cautious about global COVID-19 status, hosts of the 29th Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum are preparing this forum with the careful consideration examining vaccination status and quarantine matters of potential participants of each country.
In order to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the Republic of Korea will require a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for all travelers entering Korea at either their place of residence or a government-designated isolation facility, effective April 1, 2020. This mandatory self-quarantine will apply to everyone, regardless of nationality, except the short-term foreign visitors who are issued with an “Isolation Exemption Certificate” from the Republic of Korea Embassy or Consulate General prior to the trip.
High level delegation who visits Korea for public interest purpose including vice-minister level or higher level and those direct accompanying persons are able to get “Isolation Exemption” from Republic Of Korea Embassy.

Inviting organizations submit quarantine exemption applications to relevant ministries. After the ministries approve quarantine exemption, Korean overseas missions issue quarantine exemption certificate.

Applicants should present negative COVID-19 (PCR) test results issued within 72 hours of departure date in order to enter Korea.
2. Entering KoreaWhen entering Korea, the person should install the Self-Check Mobile App following the instruction of the disease control authorities and report his/her health status every day through the app. However, app installation can be exempted under the condition that relevant ministry controls delegation’s compliance with quarantine regulation and their health.
* Follow the Korean domestic COVID-19 quarantines during the stay, and if any fever is being confirmed, go to local government and take diagnosis test.
After the entry, those who have been granted quarantine exemption must undergo a diagnostic test at a temporary testing site
* High level delegation, vice-minister level or higher level, who submitted the negative COVID-19 PCR test result could be exempted diagnostic test.
